ST. JOSEPH, MO – May 17, 2025 – Clarios, a global leader in low-voltage battery technology, is celebrating 25 years of operations at its St. Joseph Distribution Center with a special Family Day event. The facility is welcoming more than 240 employees and their families for a day of celebration featuring food trucks, games, entertainment, and guided plant tours.

To mark the milestone, the distribution center will temporarily pause operations on Saturday to host the event. A brief program will begin at 11:00 A.M. and include remarks from Clarios Plant Manager, Jerimie Carson.

Over the past decade, more than $200 million has been invested across Clarios’ St. Joseph campus — including the distribution center and manufacturing sites — supporting upgrades to equipment and technology, improvements to facilities, and enhanced employee development programs. These ongoing investments reflect the center’s commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement. The facility has also been recognized with several top performance awards from major vehicle manufacturers and other valued industry partners — a testament to the team’s strong focus on quality, safety, and service.

Since opening its doors 25 years ago, the Clarios St. Joseph Distribution Center has shipped more than 225 million batteries across the country. It supports both automakers and aftermarket customers, supplying batteries to some of the biggest names in the industry — from major car companies to national retailers.

“The work done at this facility plays a critical role in keeping America moving,” said Marc Andraca, Vice President & General Manager, US Canada Region at Clarios. “If you’ve bought a new vehicle or replaced a battery at an auto parts store in the last 25 years, there’s a good chance that battery came from this very facility. The employees here take great pride in knowing their work helps keep families on the road, deliveries on schedule, and the heart of American transportation beating strong."

Beyond its operational achievements, the St. Joseph Distribution Center is deeply committed to giving back to the local community. The facility has actively partnered with organizations such as United Way, Camp Quality, Second Harvest Food Bank, Habitat for Humanity, and local schools. Most recently, the team organized a food drive in partnership with Second Harvest, collecting over 5,000 pounds of food to support families in need. Clarios employees also regularly volunteer with Habitat for Humanity to help build homes for underserved families in the area.
