Optima's continued partnership with Ford Performance will expand to the racing series and include Tanner Foust competing at the Le Mans Invitational.

GLENDALE, WIS. (JUNE 10, 2025) – OPTIMA Batteries has announced an exciting new collaboration with the 2025 Ford Performance Mustang Challenge racing series that includes the debut of Tanner Foust’s new Mustang Dark Horse R race car.

The new sponsorship aims to strengthen OPTIMA Batteries’ growing partnership with Ford Performance and underscore OPTIMA’s commitment to innovation and performance. Every Mustang participating in the 2025 Mustang Challenge will be powered by an OPTIMA YELLOWTOP battery, highlighting OPTIMA’s continued efforts to bridge the gap between racing and real-world applications.

Among the field competing in the 2025 Mustang Challenge, race fans will find multi-time rally champion and motorsport icon Tanner Foust. In addition to seeing him on the racetrack, Foust will also be part of a special one-hour documentary surrounding the Le Mans Invitational.
