Clarios brings Energy, Talent and Innovation to The Finals 2026

As an official partner of The Finals 2026, Clarios brought its energy, culture and commitment to the Hanover community to one of Germany’s biggest sporting events.

From July 23 to 26, Hanover hosted Germany’s largest multi-sport event, bringing together 24 sports, 143 national championship titles and a record-breaking 480,000 visitors. As an official partner of The Finals, Clarios supported the canoe competition through its leading EMEA brand VARTA Automotive while using the event as an opportunity to connect with the local community and showcase Clarios as a leading employer in the region.

The partnership created a unique platform to highlight both the VARTA Automotive brand and the people behind Clarios. Throughout the four-day event, visitors had the opportunity to meet employees at the Clarios booth on the Fan Mile, learn more about our company and explore the career opportunities that help drive our success.

For Clarios, The Finals was about more than sports sponsorship. The event provided an opportunity to bring our employer value proposition “Your Power. Endless Possibilities.” to life by creating meaningful connections with visitors, future talent and the wider Hanover community. Through personal conversations and interactive experiences, guests gained insight into the culture, innovation and collaboration that define Clarios.

A special highlight was welcoming Olympic canoe athletes to our booth. Through interviews and racing simulator challenges, athletes and visitors shared their experiences of competition, preparation and teamwork. While their disciplines may differ, both athletes and Clarios employees share a commitment to continuous improvement, resilience and high performance. These exchanges created a strong connection between the values of sport and the principles that drive our business every day.

With our EMEA headquarters located in Hanover, supporting one of Germany’s premier sporting events was a natural opportunity to strengthen our connection with the local community and celebrate the city we proudly call home. The Finals demonstrated how sport can bring people together, inspire future generations and create meaningful experiences far beyond the competition itself.
